My Favorite Thing About Being At Uncle Is
I became a barber because I’ve always loved working with people and doing something hands-on and creative. I wanted a career where I could connect with others every day while helping them feel confident and taken care of. Being behind the chair lets me do exactly that, and it’s something I’m really grateful for.
In My Spare Time
I’ve been behind the chair for 10 years now, and my hairversary is Cinco de Mayo. Over the years, I’ve built my career around connecting with people, creating confidence, and doing what I truly love every day.
When I’m not doing hair, you can usually find me at home with my two goofy German Shorthair Pointers, Emma and Dixie, who keep life fun and full of personality. I’m also a big animal lover and somehow became a full-on fish mom. It all started with a white elephant gift of a Betta fish I named Ricky Bobby because “if you ain’t first your last” and he was my first fish ever, and now I have quite the crew—at home I have my goldfish Pudge, Tubs, Juicy, and Boba. I even have a tank at my station with Bobby Boucher and his friends Chunk, Tini, and Tiny.
Outside of my animals, I love slowing down with hobbies like crocheting blankets, crafting, baking, and reading on my Kindle. Most of the time, it’s with my dogs on either side of me as my arm rests.
